Meet Isabella
Kalypseas is a reflection of my lifelong connection to movement—rooted in precision, intention, and effortless strength.
My journey began with classical ballet, where I developed a deep appreciation for alignment, control, and grace—principles that continue to define my teaching today. I later expanded that foundation through Pilates, completing my comprehensive certification with Lolita's Legacy under the lineage of Pilates Elder Lolita San Miguel.
I am also certified in Barre, with a focus on flexibility and mobility, helping the body lengthen, move freely, and build balanced, functional strength. By blending the artistry of dance with the intelligence of classical Pilates, my method is designed to sculpt the body in a way that feels refined, sustainable, and deeply connected.
Kalypseas is more than a workout—it's a movement experience centered on thoughtful technique, mindful movement, and lasting strength, empowering you to feel as beautiful as you move.
What Sets Us Apart?
Connection to Lineage.
As a third-generation teacher, I was trained through Lolita's Legacy, an internationally recognized 500-hour comprehensive Pilates certification founded by Pilates Elder Lolita San Miguel, one of only two people personally certified by Joseph Pilates. Lolita's Legacy preserves the integrity of Joes' work while evolving it to meet modern needs, adapt exercises, understand contraindications, & create effective, individualized programs for clients of all abilities.
Intelligent cueing.
Every sequence of cueing at Kalypseas is intentional & clear in order to help create a deeper connection between the mind and body. Whether your goal is to improve alignment, recruit the correct muscles, or safely modify an exercise, every cue has a purpose. By understanding the why behind each movement, you will develop greater body awareness, move with confidence, and achieve lasting results that extend beyond the studio.
At Kalypseas, movement is never performed simply for the sake of choreography. Every exercise, transition, and sequence is selected with intention, and there is always a "why" behind each movement. Rather than chasing fast-paced routines or constantly introducing new exercises for variety, our focus is on mastering the fundamentals through precision, control, and purposeful progression.
